We are looking for a Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake to design and implement scalable data solutions that support our growing analytics and business intelligence needs. You will be instrumental in building modern, cloud-native data infrastructure with Snowflake at its core, enabling high-quality, accessible, and secure data across the organization. Key Requirements Build end-to-end, high-throughput pipelines: Design and automate batch & real-time flows with ADF, Informatica, dbt, and Snowflake Tasks, seamlessly ingesting structured and unstructured data from APIs, event streams, and cloud stores.\ Engineer world-class Snowflake architectures: Model star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables, and materialized views; apply partitioning, clustering, and resource monitors to maximize performance while minimizing cost. Automate, orchestrate, and deploy at scale: Code stored procedures, UDFs, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure Repos, Jenkins) to deliver version-controlled, reproducible data jobs and zero-touch releases. Guarantee data quality, lineage, and reliability: Embed validation tests, monitoring dashboards, and lineage tracking to ensure accuracy, completeness, and SLA adherence across all data assets. Secure and govern the data estate: Manage Snowflake roles, warehouses, and policies in partnership with Data Governance to uphold privacy, compliance, and fine-grained access control. Drive cross-functional impact: Collaborate with analysts, scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, lead code reviews, and champion best-practice knowledge sharing. Requirements Solid academic foundation: Bachelor s (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a closely related field. Proven track record with Snowflake & at-scale pipelines: 4 + years building production data systems, including 2 + years of deep, hands-on Snowflake development (schema design, performance tuning, role/warehouse administration). Expertise integrating SAP ERP (S/4HANA & ECC) data into Snowflake would be a significant plus. Advanced SQL & data-modeling mastery: Expert at writing optimized queries, CTEs, DDL/DML, and designing star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables, and materialized views. End-to-end engineering toolchain: Python, dbt Cloud, ADF, Informatica, Databricks, Synapse, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD; plus familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized, orchestrated deployments. This role plays a key part in protecting our operational technology (OT) environments by designing, implementing, and managing security controls across systems, networks, and integrations. Key Responsibilities Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans for OT systems. Recommend and implement mitigation strategies. Security Assessments: Lead OT cybersecurity reviews, including network topology and data flow mapping. Policy Development: Support the creation and maintenance of security policies and procedures aligned with secure-by-design principles.
