Job Summary:

Oracle HCM Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead architect for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
  • Design end-to-end HCM solutions across modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Talent Management, Compensation, and Time & Labor.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle HCM Cloud architecture and best practices.
  • Lead solution design workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Define integration strategy with third-party systems (payroll, benefits, ERP, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
  • Oversee solution development, configuration, and deployment in collaboration with development and QA teams.
  • Guide data migration strategy and assist with data conversion activities.
  • Provide governance and oversight during project execution and support phases.
  • Develop technical and functional documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide thought leadership in Oracle HCM capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect.
  • Proven experience in full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least 3 major Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
  • Experience with HCM data models, security roles, fast formulas, and workflow configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Extracts, and BI Publisher.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in HR business processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Oracle Cloud Certification(s) in HCM is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in global HCM implementations and localization (e.g., UK, US, APAC).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in change management and training related to Oracle HCM deployments.
  • Understanding of extensions using Visual Builder or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).

Work Environment:
