Oracle ERP QA Analyst-Remote/Contract

Job Summary:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Tosca automation.
• Strong expertise in Tosca Modules, Test Cases, Execution Lists, Test Configurations, and Test Data Management.
• Hands-on Experience in testing ERP systems Oracle Fusion and SAP S/4HANA or Salesforce is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and defect management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or ServiceNow.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies (functional, regression, integration, UAT).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for test frameworks, execution results, and reusable components.
• Continuously improves automation efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Develop and manage test data, environments, and test execution schedules during Oracle Quarterly releases.
• Perform impact analysis and regression testing for application changes and patches.
• Validate configurations, extensions, and integrations (e.g., with third-party systems, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Perform data validation and testing for reports (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View).
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or ALM.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of end-to-end automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Modules (Manufacturing, SCM, INV, AP, GL etc.)
• Design and implement Tosca test cases using model-based testing principles.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into reusable automation modules.
• Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Contribute to test planning, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain documentation for test frameworks, execution results, and reusable components.
• Continuously improves automation efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or Halo ITSM.
• Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and business users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct smoke testing and support production validation during go-lives and patch cycles.
• Maintain and update test scripts and documentation in accordance with system changes or upgrades (e.g., quarterly Oracle Cloud updates).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion modules such as Manufacturing, SCM, INV and Financial modules.
• Experience with QA practices, defect management, and testing lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud quarterly release testing and validation processes.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., TOSCA, Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Oracle certification in Cloud Applications (Functional or Technical).
