The Role

Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Architect


  • Lead complex Oracle Cloud HCM transformations/implementations from a solutioning and delivery perspective.
  • Act as a

    trusted advisor

    to clients on major technological decisions and industry best practices.
  • Act as a

    subject matter expert

    for the Oracle Cloud HCM Suite.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of common HCM processes, latest technological development and eye to automation and improving process efficiencies, wherever possible.
  • Lead

    teams, mentor juniors and support in upskilling in key technologies.
  • Prepare and

    lead functional workshops

    and engage with business Stakeholders in requirements gathering and business mapping.
  • Provide architectural and module specific solutions, recommendations and options for critical business requirements and processes.
  • Keep up to date with Oracle Cloud’s latest upgrades and features and provide recommendations to clients on their adoption.
  • Support managed-services teams on complex solutioning, enhancements and health checks, where required.
  • Understand and embrace de Novo’s trademark implementation methodology and champion it across projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams and regions, to drive the outcomes for the client.
  • Communicate with clarity

    to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create documents of high standards for the purpose of client presentations/design documentation and reuse in future projects.
  • Work with the sales team during the pre-sales engagement process and provide estimates.
  • Participate in the development of proof of concepts for use during sales engagement process.
  • Adhere to documented development standards and implementation of "best practice" development methods.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Support to provide solutions to product gaps and bugs.
  • Support the development of apprentice and graduate intake colleagues.


Skills and Experience(Mandatory)

  • At least 10+ years of experience, working in Oracle HCM Solutions, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Suite.
  • Minimum of 4 end-to-end implementation experience in at least 1 implementation as a Solution Architect.
  • Mastery in implementing

    Oracle Global Human Resources (Core HR)

    in complex business environments such as multinational implementations and/or public-sector rollouts.
  • Strong knowledge of Employee Lifecycle Processes (Hire to retire process)
  • Should have good knowledge in Enterprise structure, Workforce structure, Workflow, Security, AOR, DOR, Redwood enabling and Checklist.
  • Expected to have idea about Journey, Implementation methodology and cut over activities
  • Should have experience in implementing at least two of the following modules:

    Absence management, Time and Labour, Compensation, Payroll, Recruitment Cloud, Talent Management, Guided Learning.

  • Experience in a

    UK implementation

    is highly advantageous.
  • Should have experience in every stage of the project, including leading workshops, configuring, SIT, UAT, cutover and post Go Live support.
  • Should have experience collaborating with the technical teams to support the development of interfaces, data migration routines, reports, and any ad hoc PaaS development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex product issues.
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and oral) with good attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills and a dedication to achieving business outcomes and project deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, incorporate innovations, and stay up to date with industry and business directions.
  • Should be capable of eliciting the right requirements from the client, help them define the problem statement and guide them through a solution.
  • Team player with demonstrable ownership of issues and ability to escalate when necessary.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Flexibility when it comes to supporting innovative technologies.
  • Should be Fusion HCM certified.


Skills and Experience(Desired)

  • An understanding or experience in BI Publisher / OTBI / Data Migration tools will be an added plus.
  • Experience of multiple industry sectors.


Qualification:

Bachelor's degree Computer Science or a related field. MBA HR or HR related qualification will be an added plus.


Please note: Client onsite visits may be required at different stages of the projects.
