Job Description

Responsibilities

Oversee technical operations, including application deployment, configuration, and support across telecom platforms.
Monitor alerts and proactively respond to issues related to databases, servers, and application performance.
Handle end-to-end resolution of field issues, customer complaints, and system alerts within defined SLAs.
Collaborate with development, QA, and network teams to ensure smooth deployment and issue tracking.
Lead and mentor support engineers handling pan-India operations.
Manage incident documentation, perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and ensure timely resolution and escalation.
Ensure system compliance with telecom regulatory norms and data protocols.
Liaise with internal stakeholders for deployment coordination and addon process handling.

Requirements

Telecom domain knowledge: Understanding telecom flows and regulatory implications.
Linux expertise: Command line proficiency for server/application support and log analysis.
SQL proficiency: Data extraction, query optimization, and basic procedure execution.
Web and app server knowledge: Experience with Apache, Tomcat, and troubleshooting deployment issues.
Scripting/markup: Basic knowledge of HTML and scripting for automation or UI analysis.
Issue tracking and documentation: Proficiency in using ticketing tools, documenting RCA/resolutions.
AI tool familiarity: Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) for query building or problem diagnosis.
Team leadership: Ability to lead support engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Customer handling: Professional communication with stakeholders.
Stress and time management: Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive telecom environments.
