Operations Executive

Job Description: Operations Executive – IESA

The Operations Executive at IESA will play a key role in supporting the execution of workforce development 

initiatives. The role demands strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities to ensure the 

smooth operation of events, collaborations, and daily activities.

Core Functional Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute IESA events – workshops, webinars, hackathons, and Vision Summit activities.

• Engage with IESA members, academic partners, and industry stakeholders for operational requirements.

• Track project timelines and maintain progress reports for Workforce Development initiatives.

• Prepare documentation, reports, MoMs, and presentations for internal and external communication.

Technical & Tool-based Skills

• Strong command of MS Office (Word, Adv. Excel with knowledge of Power BI, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Experience with virtual collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet).

Soft & Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate across teams.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in operational execution.

• Professional stakeholder engagement with academia, industry, and government representatives.

Organizational & Strategic Support

• Support process improvement and workflow documentation.

• Compile data and presentations for leadership reviews.

• Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure of deliverables.

Qualifications & Preferred Attributes

• BSc in Electronics & Communications

• 3 - 4 years of experience in operations, coordination, or event management roles.

• Experience working with industry associations, academia, or skilling programs preferred.

• Passion for technology, innovation, and the semiconductor/electronics ecosystem
