Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Siliguri, West Bengal
Department: Operations
Reports To: Director / General Manager
Experience: Minimum 6–10 years in operations, preferably in the tea or FMCG industry
Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration / Operations Management or relevant field
Salary: Negotiable

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Head Office, ensuring that processes run efficiently and effectively across departments. This role is responsible for implementing systems, coordinating inter-departmental functions, managing workflows, and supporting business growth through operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily operations at the Head Office, ensuring smooth coordination between departments (Accounts, HR, Sales, Dispatch, Procurement, etc.)
  • Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic performance reports for management.
  • Liaise with department heads to align operational goals and ensure timely execution of company strategies.
  • Handle resource planning, office infrastructure, and vendor management.
  • Lead initiatives for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, inventory planning, logistics, and procurement as needed.
  • Support HR and admin in employee onboarding, discipline, and overall coordination.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and operations software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
