The role demands strong knowledge of tea manufacturing processes, equipment handling, and workforce management. Candidates with Assam Tea Estate experience will be given preference. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of tea manufacturing including withering, rolling, fermentation, drying, sorting, and packing. Ensure optimal utilization of factory manpower and machinery. Monitor quality parameters and ensure consistency as per buyer/market requirements. Coordinate with the estate/plucking team to ensure timely leaf intake. Maintain factory hygiene, safety standards, and statutory compliance. Supervise preventive maintenance and repair schedules of machinery. Generate daily production, quality, and inventory reports. Lead, train, and motivate factory workers and junior staff. Liaise with Quality Control, Logistics, and Management teams for smooth workflow.
