Role Overview


finance and accounting processes (Record-to-Report, Accounts Payable)

bridge between clients and offshore/onshore BPO resources


Key Responsibilities


BPO Operations & Delivery


  • Oversee day-to-day operations of BPO teams supporting

    R2R, Accounting, and Accounts Payable

    processes.
  • Ensure adherence to defined SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations.
  • Monitor work quality, timelines, and productivity across BPO resources.


Client & Stakeholder Management


  • Act as the

    primary point of contact

    for clients on operational matters, escalations, and ongoing coordination.
  • Bridge communication gaps between clients and BPO resources to ensure clarity of expectations and deliverables.
  • Conduct

    weekly coordination calls

    with client stakeholders to review progress, issues, and upcoming priorities.


Team Management & Engagement


  • Maintain

    weekly communication with all BPO resources

    to:
  • Track work progress and workload
  • Address grievances or concerns
  • Provide guidance and performance feedback
  • Escalate critical issues or recurring challenges to senior management with recommended solutions.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance work environment focused on accountability and collaboration.


Recruitment & Growth Support


  • Support the growth of the BPO team by coordinating:
  • Resource planning and staffing needs
  • Resume screening and interview scheduling
  • Interview coordination with internal leadership and client stakeholders
  • Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring smooth knowledge transition.


Process & Continuous Improvement


  • Leverage strong understanding of

    BPO finance processes

    (R2R, Accounting, AP) to:
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies
  • Propose and implement process improvements
  • Support standardization and documentation of workflows


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • 8–12 years

    of experience in BPO operations, shared services, or outsourcing environments
  • Strong functional understanding of:
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Accounting close processes
  • Accounts Payable
  • Working knowledge of HR operations and benefits coordination in a BPO setup
  • Experience managing client relationships and handling escalations
  • Proven ability to manage distributed teams and drive engagement
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across time zones and support flexible working hours


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with global clients (US, UK, or APAC)
  • Prior experience scaling BPO teams or setting up new client engagements
  • Exposure to finance transformation or process optimization initiatives
