Role Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will be in the center of the action where product meets business. You will be working closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, development teams and other stakeholders, helping to develop the product as per the business requirement without compromising on the industry's best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of new features and products, leveraging expertise in React, Node.js and latest cutting-edge technologies within the software industry.
  • A major part of your responsibility will be to apply current skills and use up-to-date technologies to complete projects as part of the development cycle including Coding, Design, Development, Debugging, Reliability & Analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in NodeJS, Javascript, typescript with understanding of OOPS, as well as a scripting language (Python/Shell script). Developing and maintaining web applications utilizing React and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience in creating, managing, exposing API's, excellent in creating secure, high-performance REST APIs, ensuring user-centric solutions and fast issue resolution.
  • Configure and oversee SQL or Oracle databases and other relational data storage systems.
  • Proficiency in using Azure services for cloud-based application development.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software projects.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software meets functional and performance requirements. Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback and improve code quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues and optimize software performance.
  • Contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Work effectively in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, estimation, and other team activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing web applications as a full stack developer.
  • Experience in Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting web applications with REST based microservices using Java and Python
  • Hands-on experience working with ReactJS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and version control tools like GitHub/Gitlab
  • Experience in Developing and maintaining APIs that are scalable, secure, and highly available.
  • Experience in software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Oracle and relational database management systems.
  • Acquaintance with Azure cloud services for compute, storage, networking, and monitoring.
  • Exemplary problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role is advantageous.
