Job Summary :

The New Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities to support company growth. This role involves strategic market research, relationship-building, proposal development, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Growth & Strategy

Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.

Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company’s customer base and market presence.

Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to uncover new revenue opportunities.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and partnerships.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key prospects, partners, and stakeholders.

Conduct client needs assessments and propose customized solutions with clear value propositions.

Sales & Proposal Management

Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: pitching, negotiation, closing deals, and onboarding new clients.

Prepare business proposals, presentations, and contracts aligned with business objectives.

Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Develop sales forecasts, track KPIs, and provide regular business development reports to management.

Evaluate business development strategies and adjust approaches to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Experience :

3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Experience in relevant industry (customizable).

Skills :

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
