Position Description:
Step into a truly global role. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Operations Leader to build and lead our India-based Network Operations team, playing a key role in supporting Barry-Wehmiller’s global network infrastructure. This leader will ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our enterprise network that spans across the US, Europe, and Asia, and support 24x7 business operations across manufacturing sites, offices, and data centers.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll bring both strategic thinking and technical expertise to the table—ensuring robust, scalable, and secure connectivity across our enterprise and manufacturing environments worldwide.You’ll collaborate closely with peers in the US and Europe and interface with business leaders, site contacts, and IT partners to ensure our global network is reliable, responsive, and future-ready.We offer:

Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the India Network Operations team, ensuring alignment with global strategy and operational excellence.
- Oversee the global network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, wireless, cloud and hybrid networks.
- Collaborate with regional teams in the US and Europe for site support, design and troubleshooting activities.
- Drive 24x7 monitoring and incident response using NOC tools; establish an India-based tiered support model with defined SLAs.
- Report on SLAs and metrics to team leads; put in place service improvement plans.
- Ensure network security, compliance, and documentation practices meet company standards.
- Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to support digital initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and cloud readiness.
- Optimize and manage relationships with ISPs, OEMs, and managed service providers.
- Participate in the budgeting, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization for network operations.
- Lead or contribute to global projects including site network upgrades, cloud integration, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in network operations, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in building and managing global teams, ideally in a GCC or MNC setting.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar network hardware
- SD-WAN, cloud networking (Azure preferred)
- Network automation and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix etc.)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes, and modern NOC frameworks.
- Certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE, Azure Networking, Fortinet NSE.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional global teams.

Position Type:
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
Travel:
Occasional domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position up to 15%.
