National Sales Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager from the Orthopedic Implants & Instruments industry to lead and oversee our pan-India sales operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in orthopedic product sales, dealer/distributor management, and nationwide market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for orthopedic implants & instruments across India.
• Lead, guide, and monitor regional sales teams to achieve national targets.
• Track sales performance and present regular reports to the MD.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, surgeons’ network, hospitals, and distribution channels.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, hospitals, surgeons, and distributors.
• Coordinate with marketing for CME programs, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Conduct market & competitor analysis specific to orthopedic devices.
• Negotiate and finalize high-value institutional/hospital deals.
• Ensure timely payment collections in coordination with accounts.

Job Specification

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 10- 15 years of total sales experience
• At least 5 years in a managerial position handling multi-location teams
• Experience in manufacturing or related industry preferred

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to travel extensively across India
• Knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
