You are looking for a National Sales Leader to build and scale the battery and energy solutions vertical across India for Turno. As the National Sales Lead, your responsibilities will include owning and driving national sales targets for batteries, solar + battery systems, and energy storage solutions. You will need to develop and execute a strategic sales roadmap, build and manage a high-performing B2B sales team, identify and engage large institutional buyers, collaborate with product and operations teams, establish strong distributor relationships, understand market trends, and represent the company at industry events. **Responsibilities:** - Own and drive national sales targets for batteries, solar + battery systems, and energy storage solutions. - Develop and execute a strategic sales roadmap including go-to-market strategy, pricing, and channel partnerships. - Build and manage a high-performing B2B sales team across regions. - Identify and engage large institutional buyers, OEMs, solar aggregators, and industrial clients. - Collaborate with product and operations teams to align product offering and delivery with customer needs. - Establish strong distributor/reseller/aggregator relationships to drive scale. - Understand market trends, competition, and customer pain points to refine offerings and maintain competitive edge. - Represent the company at key industry events and forums to drive visibility and partnerships. - Define sales metrics and processes for consistent pipeline visibility and performance reporting and create long-term value through key account management and strategic alliances. **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of B2B sales experience in batteries, solar energy systems, or energy storage. - Deep domain expertise in lithium-ion batteries, solar-battery hybrid solutions, or power storage systems. - Experience working with solar EPCs, battery system integrators, commercial fleets, or industrial buyers. - Hands-on leadership experience in building national-level sales functions and managing P&L. - Strong understanding of battery specs, energy economics, and storage product configurations. - Excellent commercial negotiation and partner management skills. - Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and execution abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
