Role Overview: You will be the National Sales & Marketing Manager at Biotech Desk Pvt. Ltd., responsible for leading sales and marketing efforts, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence. As a dynamic and results-driven leader, you will develop and execute sales strategies, manage a national sales team, identify new business opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee branding and product positioning, and establish partnerships with key stakeholders. Your role will also involve analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform business strategies, monitor key performance metrics, and represent the company at industry conferences and networking events. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth. - Lead and manage a national sales team, setting targets and ensuring performance by executing metrics to judge their monthly, quarterly, and yearly performances. - Identify new business opportunities, expand market reach, and strengthen customer relationships. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing initiatives. - Oversee branding, product positioning, and promotional activities to enhance market presence. - Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform business strategies. - Establish partnerships with research institutions, biotech firms, and distributors to drive sales. - Monitor key performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend data-driven improvements. - Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. - Represent the company in sales and marketing meetings (offline and online) with various foreign collaborators. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field. - MBA in Marketing from a reputed university is preferred. - 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sector. - Proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets. - Strong network within the life sciences research and healthcare industry. - Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. - Ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans. Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Zoho or HubSpot. - Experience with marketing automation platforms like Marketo or Mailchimp. - Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI. - Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. - Team worker who can align with all members of cross-functional teams and work as a team. - Communication in English with the ability to execute and explain data in terms of graphs and charts. - Experience with project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, or Monday.com).
