In India, we lead across multiple therapeutic segments including cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, pain management — and diabetology , which is one of our strategic focus areas. As we continue to expand our footprint in diabetes care, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager (Diabetology) to lead our growth journey in this critical segment. Key Responsibilities – National Sales Manager (Diabetology) National Leadership : Drive the overall sales strategy and execution for the Diabetology division across India. Target Achievement : Plan and monitor achievement of monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets at the national, regional, and territory levels. Team Management : Lead, motivate, and mentor a large team of SM, ZSMs, RSMs, and field force across geographies. Market Expansion : Identify and tap into new geographies and customer segments to grow market share. Doctor Engagement : Drive scientific engagement with diabetologists and key opinion leaders (KOLs) through the field team. Sales Operations : Optimize productivity, reporting discipline, and field performance through data-driven reviews and dashboards. Cross-functional Coordination : Work closely with marketing, training, supply chain, and medical affairs for seamless execution of field strategies. Product Launches : Collaborate with marketing to ensure impactful and timely launch of new brands or line extensions. Compliance & Ethics : Ensure adherence to all SOPs, regulatory norms, and ethical practices across the field force. Candidate Requirements: Education : B.Pharm / B.Sc. , MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred. Experience : 15+ years in pharma sales Minimum 4–6 years in Diabetology or Metabolic Therapy segment Experience of leading a pan-India team is essential Skills : Strong leadership, planning, and execution abilities High analytical capability and data orientation Excellent communication and people management skills Proven track record of delivering strong sales growth and team development Show more Show less
