National Sales Head (General Trade), Retail Business

As a candidate for the position, your role will involve the following: Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive the Go-To-Market (GTM) activities for general trade across PAN India. This includes managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the channel and ensuring sales and distribution growth through effective Below The Line (BTL) execution. Additionally, you will focus on operational excellence in General trade sales and increasing coverage in alignment with the GTM strategy by brand. Key Responsibilities: - Drive Sales and distribution with strong BTL execution. - Increase coverage as per GTM strategy by brand. - Manage distributor relationships and drive performance according to set targets and contracts. - Develop and lead a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), Business Development Executives (BDEs), and Sales Officers (SOs). - Establish and expand Business Associate (BA) network for the region with allocated resources. - Review and plan market and channel-specific strategies to drive business growth. - Ensure market and Debtors" Book (DB) recovery targets are met. - Control cost-to-sales ratios for on-ground manpower and BTL activities. - Maintain financial hygiene of channel partner businesses. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a similar role or at a regional level. - Goal-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. - Self-driven with a proactive attitude. - Experience working with FMCG brands is essential. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data for decision-making. - Excellent people management, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.,
