Job Description

As a Model Validator at Citi, you will be responsible for performing model validations, annual reviews, ongoing monitoring, and remediation reviews for models related to risks such as market, credit, and operational. Your role will involve providing effective challenge to the model development process, evaluating testing approaches and results, and contributing to regulatory and internal audit responses. You will collaborate with other teams within Risk and the Business to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Additionally, you will support the development of best-in-class qualitative model validation process standards and actively seek opportunities for process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Perform model validations, annual reviews, ongoing monitoring, and remediation reviews - Provide effective challenge to the model development process - Collaborate with other teams to facilitate compliance with policies and procedures - Support the development of qualitative model validation process standards - Actively seek opportunities for process improvements Qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience - Experience in Quantitative Finance, Risk management, Analytics, Model Development or Model Validation preferred - Excellent partnership and teamwork skills - Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results under tight deadlines - Proficiency in programming languages like Python - Knowledge of financial markets, Banking, Recovery Planning, and Resolution Planning requirements - Strong technical skills in time series analysis, statistics, and econometrics - Excellent communication, diplomacy, and project management skills - Master's/University degree in a relevant field In addition to the above, you should have the ability to evaluate complex issues, influence decisions, and provide expert advice. Your attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will be essential in this role. Your proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, along with your ability to work effectively in a team and independently, will contribute to your success as a Model Validator at Citi.,
