Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Role Overview:
The MIS Executive will be responsible for managing data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making across departments. The role requires strong skills in Excel, MIS tools, and reporting accuracy to ensure operational efficiency and provide timely insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect, maintain, and update data from various departments and stakeholders.

Prepare, analyze, and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports as per management requirements.

Develop dashboards, trackers, and performance monitoring tools to ensure visibility on key metrics.

Perform data validation, cleaning, and reconciliation to maintain accuracy and reliability.

Automate recurring reports using advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.

Support decision-making by generating ad-hoc analysis and customized reports.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline data flow and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in line with University policies.
Qualifications & Skills Required:

Graduate in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Applications, IT, or a related field (Postgraduate preferred).

3+ years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data analysis (education/skills sector experience preferred).

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF statements, Conditional Formatting, etc.).

Knowledge of database management, Google Sheets, and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau – desirable).

Good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
