Job Description

1. Data Collection & Management

Gather daily, weekly, and monthly financial data from various departments.
Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Update ledgers, journals, and financial statements in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP).

2. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports (e.g., cash flow, receivables, payables, expense analysis).
Compare actual financial performance with budgets and forecasts.
Highlight variances and provide analysis for management decision-making.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting Support

Assist in preparing budgets and financial projections.
Track actual spending against budget and flag deviations.

4. Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (GST, TDS, PF, ESI-related financial data).
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary MIS data.

5. Process Improvement

Identify gaps in reporting systems and suggest improvements.
Automate recurring reports using Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) or BI tools.

6. Coordination

Liaise between accounts, finance, and management teams to ensure smooth data flow.
Collaborate with other departments to reconcile cross-functional data.

Key Skills Required

Advanced Excel (Pivot, Lookup, Macros), ERP/Tally knowledge
Analytical thinking & attention to detail
Good understanding of accounting principles
Report drafting & presentation skills
Time management & accuracy
