MIS Analyst (Power BI Mandatory)

Position Summary

The MIS Leader (Power BI) will oversee the Management Information Systems function with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining reporting & analytics solutions using Power BI. The role involves leading a team, ensuring data quality & governance, translating business needs into actionable insights, and supporting strategic decisions through timely dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Management
• Gather data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Reporting & Visualization (Power BI)
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Design data models, DAX measures, and visual elements.
• Automate reporting processes for different departments.
• Business Analysis
• Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
• Support decision-making with actionable insights.
• Collaboration
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Train users on self-service BI and dashboards.
• Data Governance
• Maintain documentation for data sources and reporting standards.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy protocols.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Typically 5‑10 years of experience in MIS / Business Intelligence / Reporting roles, with at least several years specifically working with Power BI.
• Exposure to working in agile project delivery could be an advantage.

Performance Metrics / KPIs

Some of the success metrics for the role may include:

• Accuracy of reports delivered (low error rate)
• Timeliness of dashboard and report delivery (on agreed schedule)
• Usage / adoption of Power BI reports by business users
• Improvement in decision‑making, based on insights provided
• Data refresh reliability and report performance (e.g., no timeouts, refresher failures)
• Reduction in requests for rework / data corrections

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
