The Role: Mobile Performance & Affiliate Marketing Lead
As the Mobile Performance & Affiliate Marketing Lead, you will be the key driver of our mobile user acquisition and revenue growth through affiliate and performance-based channels. This is a hands-on role that requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the mobile Ad-Tech ecosystem, strong negotiation skills, and proven leadership ability to manage and optimize campaigns for maximum return on investment (ROI). You will also be directly responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 3 to 4 people.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Performance Management
Develop and Execute Strategy:
Formulate and execute comprehensive mobile performance and affiliate marketing strategies to achieve ambitious user acquisition, retention, and revenue goals (CPI, CPA, CPL, ROAS).Campaign Optimization:
Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all mobile performance campaigns across multiple networks, channels, and partners, ensuring consistent delivery on client KPIs.Budget Ownership:
Own and manage the performance marketing budget, allocating spend effectively across channels, and providing accurate forecasting and ROI analysis.Data-Driven Insights:
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, derive actionable insights, and continuously refine performance levers.
Ad-Tech, Tracking & Integrations (Technical Focus)
MMP Expertise (Must-Have):
Must have hands-on experience working with and leveraging Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava, Singular, AppMetrica
, or similar platforms for campaign setup, reporting, and attribution.Ad Serving Tools (Must-Have):
Proven experience operating and managing campaigns within popular Ad Serving and Tracking platforms like Affise, Trackier, Swaarm, Offer18, FuseClick
, or other proprietary AD-Tech tracking solutions.API Traffic Management:
Must have prior experience working with API traffic publishers
and understanding the nuances of server-to-server tracking.API Network Development (Added Advantage):
Experience in building, integrating, or scaling an API network of traffic
will be a significant advantage.
Affiliate & Partner Management
Relationship Building:
Establish, nurture, and expand strong relationships with key mobile affiliate networks, media partners, direct publishers, and traffic sources.Negotiation:
Expertly negotiate competitive payout rates, campaign terms, and exclusive inventory to ensure maximum profitability and campaign quality.Quality Assurance:
Implement robust fraud detection and prevention measures to maintain campaign quality and channel integrity.
Team Leadership & Development
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and guide a small but growing team of 2-3 performance/affiliate specialists
, fostering a high-performance, data-driven, and collaborative team culture. Experience in handling a small team will be an added advantage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Product, Technology, Creative, and Sales teams to align marketing initiatives, integrate new features, and develop high-performing ad creatives and landing pages.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
5 to 8 years
of progressive experience in Mobile Performance Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.
Industry Expertise (Mandatory):
Proven track record working directly within an Ad Tech, Mobile Affiliate Network, or Performance Marketing/Agency environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Deep working knowledge of the required MMPs and Ad Serving/Tracking tools
listed above.Data & Analytics:
Exceptional analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
, and experience in data visualization/reporting.Leadership:
Experience in handling and mentoring a small team is highly preferred.Communication:
