Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will assist the engineering team in updating product designs, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturability and cost-efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in mechanical and(or) electromechanical design, has a solid understanding of structural, thermal, and stress analysis to support reliable product design and can work independently under the guidance of senior engineers.

About the Role

• Design, build, and test electromechanical components.

• Support the full lifecycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization, including conceptualization, design, CAD modelling, development, and testing/validation.

• Use CAD, Creo, Solid work software to develop basic 3D models and drawings.

• Design components using various materials such as metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.

• Ensure documentation adheres to SEMI standards and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Conduct detailed analyses, including structural, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to accurately specify designs.

• Develop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance.

• Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation during design reviews.

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions are manufactured with high quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with requirements.

• Deliver key documents, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), technical specifications, risk analysis, test specifications, and design review presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

• 3–6 years of industry experience in mechanical design and drafting.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and assembly design.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GD&T

• Solid understanding of structural, thermal, and stress analysis for mechanical reliability.

• Familiarity with engineering standards, drafting conventions, and revision control.

Ability to interpret and apply engineering feedback and requirements effectively.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with electromechanical assemblies.

• Exposure to SEMI standards or cleanroom-compatible product design.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection for mechanical components.

• Prior collaboration with suppliers or external manufacturers
