Job Description

Marketing Manager – Roles & Responsibilities (Hotel Magnus)Primary Role

To drive brand visibility, increase revenue through strategic marketing initiatives, and enhance hotel presence across digital and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute annual and monthly marketing plans aligned with hotel business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, audience segments, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.

2. Digital Marketing & Online Presence

  • Manage the hotel’s online visibility across social media, website, Google, and OTA platforms.
  • Plan and run digital campaigns (SEO, social media marketing, paid ads).
  • Track and analyze online performance and generate regular MIS reports.
  • Oversee online reputation management (Google reviews, TripAdvisor, Booking.com, etc.).

3. Branding & Promotions

  • Maintain consistent brand image across all communication and advertising.
  • Create marketing collaterals – brochures, banners, flyers, menus, videos, etc.
  • Plan and execute special promotions, festival campaigns, seasonal offers, and thematic events.

4. Business Development

  • Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and institutional partners.
  • Identify and develop new business segments to increase banquet, room sales, and F&B revenue.
  • Support the sales team with lead generation and conversion strategies.

5. Guest Engagement & Experience

  • Create loyalty programs, guest retention activities, and referral promotions.
  • Coordinate guest feedback systems and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor customer trends to enhance the hotel product and services.

6. Public Relations & Events

  • Manage press releases, media communication, and influencer collaborations.
  • Organize hotel events, product launches, and networking meets to boost market presence.
  • Represent the hotel at trade fairs, industry events, and community activities.

7. Coordination with Internal Departments

  • Work closely with F&B, Banquet, Reservations, Operations, and Creative teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
  • Provide training and guidance to operational teams on promotional updates and brand standards.

8. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor ROI of campaigns and marketing spends.
  • Submit monthly marketing performance reports and improvement recommendations to management.
  • Track competition pricing, promotions, and market shifts.
