Job Description

Cinema Guest Service Provider – Roles & Responsibilities1. Guest Greeting & Assistance

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Provide information about movie schedules, seat availability, promotions, and facilities.
  • Assist guests with directions inside the cinema (screens, restrooms, exits).

2. Ticketing & Reservations

  • Operate the ticketing system to sell and issue tickets.
  • Process online bookings and assist guests with digital tickets.
  • Recommend movies, seating options, and upgrades (e.g., premium screens).

3. Concessions & Food Service

  • Prepare and serve popcorn, beverages, and other snacks.
  • Upsell food combos and promotions to maximize sales.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene at the concession counter.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety guidelines.

4. Auditorium Management

  • Check tickets and guide guests to their assigned seats.
  • Monitor auditorium conditions (temperature, sound, lighting).
  • Perform regular walk-throughs to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Address disturbances or issues (noisy guests, seat problems) professionally.

5. Cleaning & Housekeeping

  • Clean auditoriums before, after, and between shows.
  • Maintain cleanliness in lobby, counters, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Dispose waste properly and follow cleaning checklists.

6. Customer Service & Issue Resolution

  • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and refund/exchange requests.
  • Provide quick solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Report unresolved issues to supervisors or duty managers.

7. Cash Handling & POS Operations

  • Manage cash transactions accurately.
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
  • Follow company financial procedures and prevent shortages/errors.

8. Safety & Security

  • Ensure compliance with cinema safety protocols.
  • Assist in emergency procedures such as evacuations.
  • Monitor for prohibited items or suspicious activities.
  • Follow fire safety and crowd-control guidelines.

9. Marketing & Promotions

  • Promote loyalty programs, membership cards, and special offers.
  • Set up promotional displays or posters as required.
  • Support event screenings, premieres, or private bookings.

10. Teamwork & Coordination

  • Work closely with supervisors, ushers, concession staff, and projection teams.
  • Communicate shift updates and issues clearly.
  • Support other departments during peak periods (weekends, holidays).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
