Marketing Manager – Bazana!

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years, preferably with startup FMCG ecosystem exposure

About Bazana:

Bazana is a mass-premium healthy snacking brand focused on high-protein, low-sugar nut-based products aiming to disrupt the Indian FMCG space through innovation, quality, and digital-first brand growth.

Role Summary:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving brand growth and awareness through innovative marketing strategies with a strong emphasis on digital media and community-led growth initiatives. This hands-on role requires a strategic thinker and executor familiar with the startup FMCG environment, digital marketing channels, consumer engagement, and rapid brand building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance Bazana’s brand presence and market share in the healthy snacking category.
  • Lead digital media campaigns including social media, content marketing, influencer collaborations, and paid digital advertising to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Spearhead community-led growth initiatives to build and engage loyal consumer groups around the Bazana brand.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, sales, and e-commerce teams to ensure marketing alignment and successful product launches.
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently, optimizing spend for maximum ROI across channels.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using relevant analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compelling storytelling across all consumer touchpoints.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of proven marketing experience, ideally in FMCG startups or food brands.
  • Strong hands-on experience in digital marketing, community engagement, and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital and offline marketing initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a proactive, hands-on approach.
