Job Description

Marketing Manager / Marketing Head

Location: Kottakkal (On-site) – with occasional travel for events, partnerships, and campaigns.

Position Summary

The Head of Marketing will lead the entire marketing function for Skilz, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for building the marketing vision, executing high-impact campaigns, and creating a strong digital and offline presence to position Skilz as a leading skills and career-building platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and own the overall marketing strategy aligned with Skilz’s business goals.

Define annual and quarterly marketing budgets, KPIs, and ROI metrics.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team (digital, content, creative, events).

2. Brand Building & Positioning:

Strengthen Skilz brand identity across all touchpoints.

Drive storytelling and content strategies that highlight success stories, student journeys, and partnerships.

Ensure brand consistency across digital, print, and experiential marketing.

3. Digital & Performance Marketing:

Plan and execute ROI-driven digital campaigns: social media, paid ads, SEO, SEM, email marketing, marketing automation.

Optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC) and improve lifetime value (LTV).

Oversee website traffic growth, lead generation funnels, and analytics.

4. Product & Growth Marketing:

Collaborate with product and sales teams to craft go-to-market strategies for new courses, programs, and skill tracks.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to spot trends and opportunities.

5. Partnerships & Community Engagement:

Build strategic alliances with corporates, colleges, influencers, and industry leaders.

Lead on-ground activations, workshops, events, and sponsorships to expand Skilz reach.

6. Data & Insights:

Set up dashboards for real-time marketing analytics.

Track and report performance to management with actionable insights.

Qualifications & Skills

Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years’ proven experience in marketing leadership (preferably in ed-tech, training, or lifestyle/consumer brands).

Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and growth hacking.

Strong understanding of data analytics, conversion optimization, and marketing automation tools.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership skills.

Creative mindset with a sharp business sense.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
