About the Company: We are setting up a new briquette manufacturing plant and are seeking a Market Research Executive to identify and evaluate potential areas for plant establishment. The role focuses on studying existing briquette setups, understanding raw material availability, and analyzing agricultural waste patterns to support strategic plant location decisions. Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting field-based market research for new briquette plant locations. The role involves visiting different regions, collecting data on existing briquette plants, raw material sources, and agricultural waste availability, and providing actionable insights for plant setup decisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify potential new areas for setting up briquette plants. Survey and document existing briquette plants in various regions and their operational models. Collect and analyze data on raw materials (agricultural waste such as husk, bagasse, crop residue, etc.) used by existing plants. Study the availability of agricultural waste in different areas based on Rabi and Kharif seasons. Assess the logistics feasibility and supply chain for raw material procurement. Prepare research reports with recommendations for plant location feasibility. Coordinate with the management team to assist in decision-making for plant setup. Perform extensive field visits; this role involves minimal office-based work. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate in Agriculture, Environment, Mechanical, or Management stream (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in market research, agro-industry, or industrial project feasibility studies. Strong understanding of agricultural cycles (Rabi & Kharif) and rural market dynamics. Excellent field data collection, analytical, and reporting skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with farmers, local suppliers, and plant operators. Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork.
