Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manufacturing/Plant Head in Cell Module Manufacturing located in Indore. The role involves overseeing production planning, operational excellence, operations management, manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

• • Lead the end-to-end setup of the 2 GW Cell & Module Manufacturing Plant from ground-up. • Drive collaboration with EPC, equipment suppliers, consultants, and regulatory bodies for timely and cost-effective project execution. • Establish robust processes, systems, and SOPs for manufacturing excellence. • Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances are adhered to during construction and commissioning. • Oversee smooth ramp-up from pilot runs to full-scale production. • Ensure world-class manufacturing standards in productivity, cost, safety, and quality. • Drive lean manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives for operational excellence. • Implement best-in-class supply chain and inventory management practices. • Define and deliver on annual production, efficiency, and cost targets. • Manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, and operational costs effectively. • Collaborate with top management to align plant goals with business strategy and market demands. • Stay abreast of global trends in cell & module manufacturing and ensure adoption of cuttingedge technologies. • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to support process improvements, new product development, and efficiency gains. KEY REQUIREMENTS • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering. MBA/PGDM in Operations Management. • Experience: Minimum 20+ years in of manufacturing leadership experience, with at least 8–10 years in senior plant leadership rolesin cell/module manufacturing, semiconductors, renewable energy, or allied high-tech manufacturing. • Proven track record of setting up and scaling greenfield/brownfield projects. • Strong expertise in manufacturing excellence, lean practices, automation, and quality systems. • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage multi-stakeholder projects, and deliver results under challenging timelines. • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset
