Job Description

Role Summary: We are hiring a State Head – Solar Rooftop for one of our renowned clients. You will be responsible for driving sales, channel development, government liaisons, and project execution in your designated state. You will lead a team and work closely with distributors, EPCs, developers, and state nodal agencies to accelerate the adoption of solar rooftop systems under both residential and commercial segments. Key Responsibilities: · • Lead business development and P&L for Solar Rooftop division in the assigned state. · • Identify and develop a strong channel partner network (EPCs, installers, system integrators). · • Manage end-to-end rooftop solar project life cycle: from site survey to commissioning. · • Build strong relationships with DISCOMs, SNA (State Nodal Agencies), and other government bodies. · • Drive tender participation and ensure compliance with state and central subsidy schemes. · • Forecast sales and monitor KPIs aligned with company objectives. · • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and partners. · • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and policy updates. · • Lead and mentor a high-performing state-level sales and execution team. Desired Candidate Profile: · • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Renewable Energy; MBA preferred. · • Minimum 8 years of experience in rooftop solar (residential/commercial/industrial). · • Proven leadership experience in handling state-level operations and sales. · • Strong understanding of MNRE policies, subsidy mechanisms, and net-metering processes. · • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills. · • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
