Job Description

You’ll be our: Manufacturing Finance Partner
You’ll be based at: Ather Energy Limited, Hosur FactoryYou’ll be aligned with: Head - Manufacturing FinanceYou’ll be joining our: Corpoarte Finance & AccountsRoles & Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting – Building robust systems and Preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Reforecasts, reviewing with Management and circulation of approved Budgets.
Drive Monthly Book closures such as Inventory Valuation, Product costings, COGS reporting and provisional accountings to meet the financial objectives.
Preparation of Monthly Operational cost such as Conversion costs, Inbound & Outbound Logistics and presenting to the management.
Preparation of Tailor-made insight presentations, Variance analysis and commentary around Budget vs actual spends.
Deep dive on operational costs and implement strategies for cost reduction.
Active participation in swim lanes and supporting financial evaluations and providing recommendations on cost benefits.
Evaluation of Capital Budgeting proposals & Make cost of inhouse planned production of captively consumed materials and provide keen insights to the management for decision making.
Implementation of SAP systems & ensure adhering to the systems in non-scooter business area.
Supporting statutory compliance to meet the business regulations.
Coordinating with Internal/Statutory auditors and submission of requisite information and closure of audits in time.

What we are looking for:

Highly skilled and proficient in creating business models in excel and ability to provide deep insights by way of presentations.
Strong financial acumen with strong understanding of financial forecasting & reporting and Cost accounting and inventory management.
Self-starter that takes initiative and is driven by new challenges
Hands on Experience on ERP environment and business data platforms such as SAP & JIRA would be appreciated
Independent thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in an agile framework in a dynamic environment.

You bring to the Ather:

Must be a Chartered Accountant having minimum 5 years of experience
Working in the Automobile industry would be an additional advantage.
