The Opportunity: Manager/Sr.Manager Social Media & Communications

This is not just another communications role. As Senior Social Media Manager, you will be shaping how RightWalk’s mission is seen, heard, and felt across diverse communities. Beyond managing platforms, you will use the power of storytelling and digital strategy to mobilize audiences, amplify policy impact, and inspire action.

You will have full ownership of content, campaigns, and community building across platforms, blending creativity with analytics to position RightWalk as a thought leader in education, livelihoods, and social justice. Key Responsibilities

Design & Execute Social Media Strategy

• Develop and implement a cohesive digital strategy that aligns with RightWalk’s mission, campaigns, and advocacy goals.
• Manage content calendars, daily postings, and engagement across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Drive brand positioning through creative storytelling — showcasing beneficiary journeys, policy wins, events, data visualization, and thought leadership

Create Impactful Content & Campaigns

• Conceptualize and produce multimedia content including graphics, infographics, carousels, and videos (short and long-form).
• Ensure all content is visually compelling, empathetic, and consistent with RightWalk’s brand voice.
• Collaborate with internal teams to source field stories, visuals, and data to translate into impactful digital campaigns.

Build Communities & Amplify Reach

• Foster meaningful online engagement with donors, volunteers, policymakers, and sector leaders.
• Manage conversations across channels, responding empathetically and strengthening trust.
• Engage influencers and partners to expand RightWalk’s visibility and amplify campaigns.

Measure & Improve Performance

• Track and analyze key performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, follower growth).
• Generate insights-driven reports and continuously refine strategies for awareness, advocacy, and fundraising.
• Oversee updates and integration of social campaigns, blogs, and impact stories on the website, ensuring SEO optimization and accessibility.

Who Will Thrive in This Role? -

  7+ years of experience in social media management

  , preferably in the non-profit, social impact, or allied sectors.
• You hold a background in Mass Communication, Design, or a related field, with strong command over digital storytelling, design tools (Canva/Adobe/AI platforms), video production, and analytics.
