About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Manager - Underwriting Sales Support
to lead and manage a team supporting U.S. healthcare underwriting and sales operations. The ideal candidate must have strong domain knowledge in U.S. healthcare, prior experience working in a
US BPO (non-voice) environment
, and a proven track record of managing teams and service delivery in night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 8–10 Underwriting Sales Support Analysts ensuring accurate and timely completion of underwriting support activities.
- Oversee case analysis, document review, data verification, pricing support, and proposal/document preparation for U.S. healthcare clients.
- Coordinate closely with U.S.-based underwriting, sales, and broker teams to support proposals and renewal processes.
- Monitor daily operational workflow, assign tasks, and ensure SLA adherence and performance quality.
- Conduct regular team training, performance reviews, coaching, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, audit checks, and quality controls to ensure process accuracy.
- Handle client interactions, escalations, and ensure smooth communication across stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–12 years of overall experience in US Healthcare Underwriting Support / Sales Support / Group Health Insurance Operations.
- Mandatory: Experience working in US Healthcare BPO (non-voice) process.
- Hands-on experience supporting underwriting, proposals, renewal quoting, census data analysis, and benefit plan comparison is highly preferred.
- Prior experience managing teams (minimum 8–10 members) with proven leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client coordination and stakeholder interaction.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in Night Shift (U.S. shift) is mandatory.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent.
