We are seeking an experienced Manager - Underwriting Sales Support to lead and manage a team supporting U.S. healthcare underwriting and sales operations. The ideal candidate must have strong domain knowledge in U.S. healthcare, prior experience working in a US BPO (non-voice) environment, and a proven track record of managing teams and service delivery in night shifts.
Lead and manage a team of 8–10 Underwriting Sales Support Analysts ensuring accurate and timely completion of underwriting support activities.
Oversee case analysis, document review, data verification, pricing support, and proposal/document preparation for U.S. healthcare clients.
Coordinate closely with U.S.-based underwriting, sales, and broker teams to support proposals and renewal processes.
Monitor daily operational workflow, assign tasks, and ensure SLA adherence and performance quality.
Conduct regular team training, performance reviews, coaching, and process improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain SOPs, audit checks, and quality controls to ensure process accuracy.
Handle client interactions, escalations, and ensure smooth communication across stakeholders.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.
10–12 years of overall experience in US Healthcare Underwriting Support / Sales Support / Group Health Insurance Operations.
Mandatory: Experience working in US Healthcare BPO (non-voice) process.
Hands-on experience supporting underwriting, proposals, renewal quoting, census data analysis, and benefit plan comparison is highly preferred.
Prior experience managing teams (minimum 8–10 members) with proven leadership abilities.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client coordination and stakeholder interaction.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in Night Shift (U.S. shift) is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent.
