Job Objective

• To provide end to end support for Packaging Design and Development
• Sourcing and Procurement of in-direct materials (Manufacturing and R&D)
• SAP MDM_ New material master code creations for R&D, Lab & Production Consumable
• Audit and Compliance for Lab & Production Consumable sourcing
• Value engineering and SPI projects

Key Responsibility

Packaging Design & Development for new & existing products(Domestic & International)

New Product Development Project for Pharmaceuticals & Consumer Business

Design & Development, Artwork Development, TransitTrials, Packaging Specification development, Stability studies, Prototype approval, Line trials, Cost negation,Packaging material delivery & Implementation, Alternate packaging option.

External supply customers (TP/LL) in packaging material development

Successful implementation and delivery of packaging material OTIF as per specification

Financial delivery in cost savings forpackagin g materials through strategic buying initiatives

1) Strategic Project Initiatives

Business analysis, Spend analysis, Opportunity Analysis, Option generation, Portfolio analysis, Sourcing approach, Strategy creation & Implementation- Specification optimisation- Size rationalisation

2) Cost saving initiative for packaging materials Value engineering in existing and new business

requirement alternate vendor development, alternate material development & change in packaging process,

3) Innovation : new ideas around packaging -material, design & process.

To generate new ideas in packaging material of existing & new products

4) Packaging Material vendor development In-house / LL / 3P(Strategic / Regular)

To develop new / alternate vendors based on ideas generated and approved by business

5) Design Re-engineering:

- Design and appearance uplift for Emerging(ROW) andRegulated markets (US, EU and UK)

6) Project Management New export customer requirement launch support (Biologics & Other Injectable)

7) Packaging Procurement Operations(NPD)

8) Strategic Buying(Indirect)

9) Audit and Compliance Audit preparations for R&D

10) SAP MDM New material master code creations for R&D, Lab & Production Consumables
