Manager - Stores

As the Inventory Manager, your role involves overseeing various aspects related to inventory management to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities include: - Overseeing the inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels without overstocking or understocking. - Coordinating with suppliers for timely procurement of materials and products, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring quality standards. - Managing logistics and distribution processes, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods in a cost-effective manner. - Supervising warehouse operations, planning layout, storage methods, and ensuring safety and security of stored items. - Leading and managing store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. - Analyzing inventory data, generating reports, tracking key performance indicators, and utilizing data for decision-making. - Managing the budget for the stores department, forecasting costs, and monitoring expenditures. - Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, including health and safety guidelines. - Providing high-quality customer service by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. - Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
