• Minimum 5+ Years of working experience in Insurance Industry.
• MBA / Post Graduation (Preferably in Insurance)
• Qualified Brokers exam of IRDAI.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of business development in EB & NON EB practice.
• Leadership skills to mentor and grow the team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Have a healthy funnel of corporate business on own.
• Help the team to create a funnel for business and convert opportunities.
• Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, and target identification.
• Identifying & analyzing the risk portfolio of potential corporates as a pre-sale’s activity.
• Risk analysis of their insurance portfolio and creating opportunities for Torque participation in the risk placement.
• Reaching out to new customers and making presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of products/services
• Balancing the optimum product mix by promoting sales of all lines of business (cross sell)
• Understanding the client requirements and then customizing the product/services as per their needs.
• Maintaining relationship with all potential and existing clients.
• Creating a database of potential corporate clients.
• Responsible for implementing business processes and controls as laid down by internal company guidelines.
• To adhere to business processes and controls as laid down by Torque and ensure strict compliance of regulations as laid down by IRDA.
• Ensuring that the ‘IRDA (Insurance Brokers) Regulations, 2013’ are adhered to in their respective areas / regions.
