The candidate is expected to demonstrate experience in managing draft independently for US-based stakeholders, delivering high value drafts and demonstrating a strong understanding of the RFP life cycle. The candidate is also expected to understand cultural sensitivities and business needs of the operating companies to deliver high quality RFPS. You will be required to:
- Build knowledge and understanding of: the Wealth business, service offerings and strategic
priorities
- Review RFPs and other client material to gain complete understanding of client requirements
- Work closely with the pursuit team to resolve open items during the proposal.
- Perform final reviews of proposals drafts.
- Assist with the development of templates, improved systems and processes for measuring RFP success
- Carry out content management activities, including collecting and updating content for proposal database and extracting best practice content
- Prepare US Investment Consulting proposals (RFP/RFI/DDQ) basis the scope of services mentioned in client documents.
- Good knowledge & understanding of different plan types like Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefits (DB) and Not-For-Profits (NFPs).
- Involvement in full-service proposals (bid management) and co-ordination with multiple onshore stakeholders by meeting required SLA/TAT.
- Documentation and respond to internal queries and complete the proposals in a timely manner.
- Regular and prompt communication with key stakeholders for RFP acknowledgements, knowledge sharing sessions, analysis discussions with strategists.
Proposal/Content Development:
- Review RFPs and other client materials to gain complete understanding of scope/requirements
- Create proposal template aligned with client requirements and company branding standards
- Collaborate with a proposal project manager to prepare competitive proposals and RFP/RFI responses including researching, writing, compiling and editing content using internal resources to ensure consistent messaging
- Work closely with pursuit team to resolve open items during the proposal development process
- Hold master drafts of proposals by incorporating edits and sending out revised drafts to the strategists / pursuit team
- Ensuring timely completion of proposals with the expected quality parameters
- Ability to work on multiple proposals and to take up additional responsibilities/opportunities
- Uploading final deliverables to internal SharePoint site/online procurement sites
- Carry out content management activities, including collecting and updating content for proposal language database and extracting content basis the best practice
- Understanding of tools like Dynamics CRM, QorusDocs/ Qvidian, Sharepoint, Responsive/RFPIO etc.
- Reviewing work of the processors and provide guidance/feedback to them
- Ensuring compliance with all internal and client policies
- Driving Process Improvements
- Providing timely updates to the People Manager and other stakeholders
- Training and coaching new hires in the team.

What you need to have:
- Postgraduate/ Graduate in Finance, Science, Technology, or Mathematics would be preferred. Other postgraduate degrees may also be considered.
- 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales/ bid management environment
- Experience of working as a part of bid teams in a professional services environment.
- Very strong written and verbal communication required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Advanced business writing ability with outstanding grammar and proofreading/ editing skills
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Good relationship skills, proven ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively
