KEY DELIVERABLES

Execution Phase

• Negotiation/Rate Contracts/Frame Agreements inline with the agreed sourcing strategies
• Ensure responsiveness to business needs by adhering to the agreed SLAs/  turnaround time for order conversion
• Support close out all of PJS / P.O.’s / Contracts and retain records / archives for future reference
• Provide procurement inputs for change order cost estimation to project management
• Support cost reduction and strategic sourcing programs
• Coordinate with the project/branch procurement teams

Proposal Phase

• Support the proposal team for procurement cost estimation and lead time related information
• Identify need for rate contracts and capacity bookings (Pump spares/Equipment / Projects)
• Liaise with category experts to identify procurement risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Strategic Phase

• Identify opportunities for Strategic Sourcing for assigned categories/items
• Identify items for Frame Agreements, initiate actions and close the Agreements in consultation with Project Director / Operations Manager / Supply Chain Head
• Make recommendations on the product specifications - including MOC (Material of construction), Performance Parameters etc.
• Identify the products, systems, sub-systems where strategic sourcing can be applied to  drive long term plans
• Analyses materials from both strategic importance & financial impact to define the necessary sourcing arrangement
• Work with other teams to nurture new vendors for new or existing items  both locally as well as globally and evolve trusted supplier buyer relationships / strategic alliances
• Complete knowledge on the project schedule process and can make recommendations on the changes to be made on the various decision parameters
• Supplier evaluation, develop vendor development strategies develop contingency plans & contracting frameworks
• Complete understanding of emerging global practices / platforms that enable better sourcing strategies
• Establish the processes for demand aggregation bulk purchases across various projects/SBUs 
• Constantly monitor various macro-economic information, understand international markets and make informed buying decision 
• Evaluate the tangible and intangible benefits of the e – procurement process and can act as a catalyst within the organization to ensure proper migration to e-procurement  
• Analyze materials from a combination of both strategic importance and financial impact to define necessary sourcing arrangement

• B.E/B.Tech
• 14+ years of experience in handling water purchases.

This competency is defined as Combination of knowledge and skills required for the purpose of ensuring effective procurement of various kinds of products, engineered and others, using cost/price data base,  vendor data base (including global vendors) and sourcing strategies, aggregation / disaggregation where required, leading to competitive advantage for  the organization

• Executing the defined sourcing strategies on ground, responding to PRs and finalizing PJS/ Orders.
