AECOM is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Engineer - Water Infrastructure to be based in Bengaluru/Gurgaon/Mumbai, India. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities: 12+ Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada, MER & ANZ region ) Having hands on experience for Design of wet utilities - Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Highway Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D, Open Roads & MicroStation) Capable of designing the pumping stations, general arrangement, road/bridge crossing structures, typical valve chambers etc. Having experience with any Hydraulic modeling tools like Water Hammer, Sewer GEMS/Infoworks ICM, Infoworks WS Pro/ WaterGEMS, Info Drainage, HEC-RAS would be advantage. Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings etc. Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC) Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks Should be capable of leading multiple projects with different geographical locations same time. Provides training and technical support to Engineers, designers on understanding design standards, adopting digital tools Additional skills like team management, project management, resource planning, project budget planning, estimation is must Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications: Masters in civil / water resources / Environment / PHE Preferable to have or working towards Professional Qualification such as C.Eng. (ICE) or C.Eng. (IET) or C. CIWEM. Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times. Able to see the "bigger picture" and take a birds-eye view of projects Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration of Water supply network distribution and transmission network. Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards. Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis. Good report writing skills. Works under general supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modelling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Provide direct project support and production for assigned projects, creating drawings as required in accordance with established standards and content to meet job requirements. Candidate must have working experience in Civil 3D, 12D and AutoCAD tools in Utility projects. Good knowledge in common Data Environment(CDE) such as project-wise, BIM 360, ACC. Experience with developing reports and presentations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for individual interactions and in group settings. Qualifications Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university.
