Job Description

  • Lead the planning function for a multinational player in sports equipment
  • Work with a global brand leader in a dynamic and fast paced culture

About Our Client

The client is a global sportswear and performance footwear brand

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Accurate Forecasting: Develop and maintain robust demand forecasting models using statistical methods and market intelligence
  • DIO Management: Monitor and optimize Days Inventory Outstanding to balance service levels with working capital efficiency
  • Sales Analysis: Conduct comprehensive sales trend analysis, seasonality patterns, and market demand assessment.
  • Factory Capacity Planning: Collaborate with manufacturing to align production capacity with demand requirements
  • Level Loading: Implement production smoothing strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize variability
  • OR Planning: Oversee Order Review planning processes to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets

Supply Chain Operations

  • Manage end-to-end supply planning process.
  • Oversee purchase order management and supplier coordination
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies across all product categories
  • Collaborate with Product, Sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and reports aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for supply chain disruptions
  • Prepare executive-level reports on performance and recommendations
  • Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and cross-functional meetings.
  • Support Category managers with Category and product insights

Team Management

  • Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for team members
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Establish clear KPIs and accountability measures for team performance

The Successful Applicant

Education & Experience

  • MBA, M.Sc. (Maths) or master's degree in data science with relevant experience.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in planning and demand/supply management
  • Minimum 3-5 years of team leadership experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or retail environment preferred

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in demand planning software
  • Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, DAX, Data Modelling, Python with statistical analysis capabilities
  • Experience with ERP systems
