Job Description

About the Role:

As the Manager - People & Culture, you will serve as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) and champion the values and culture of Amber. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and engaging work environment while driving innovative HR initiatives to meet business needs. This position offers the opportunity to lead HR projects, implement policies, and enhance HR programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and counsel to business leaders and employees on company policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
  • Coach employees and resolve employee relations matters with empathy and professionalism.
  • Facilitate skip-level meetings to address employee concerns and grievances effectively.
  • Collaborate with business leaders on various HR processes including but not limited to Performance Management, Talent Management, Capability Development and Succession Planning.
  • Design, plan, and execute engagement programs to enhance employee morale and team cohesion.
  • Foster a culture of high performance by providing support and guidance to employees.
  • Take proactive initiatives to strategize retention, control attrition, and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Implement retention programs aligned with organizational culture and values
  • Maintain effective channels of communication to understand employee sentiment and address grievances promptly.
  • Introduce best practices in HR to drive organizational and employee success.


Requirements:

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage employees and managers at all levels.
  • Proven experience in handling employee grievances and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Familiarity with the requirements of the Product Software Industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on accountability and delivering outcomes.
  • 4-5 years of experience in an HR role with at least 1-2 years of experience as an HRBP
  • Understanding of HR functions such as Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Management, etc.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Humble, collaborative, with high emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of HR / Data Analytics
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Adaptability with the ability to learn and unlearn to stay relevant in a startup environment.
