Key Accountabilities
Ensure Operational Safety aspects inline to organisation’s requirement. Promote safety policy and safety awareness among all staff working under himEnsure compliance with all relevant safe systems of work, updating risk assessments, health, safety and environmental procedures as applicableDeveloping WI, HIRAC, JSA inline to new job requirementsEnsure all plant, equipment and infrastructure is maintained in a safe, tidy and clean conditionPrepare operations plan by collecting vessel details/ stowage plan/ sequence from vessel agents inline to cargo handling terms.Ensure availability of shore cranes, equipment, and other resources as per operation planCoordinate/planning with PSS/marine for berthing and un-berthing of vessel.Monitoring and ensuring for safe & efficient vessel operation and resource utilizationEnsures desired productivity is achieved and reviewing of performances (productivity and cost) for course correction. Preparing CAPA for any non-performing vessel10Ensures correct documentation in IPOS, Daily Reports, SOF and other related areas11Participate in review / performance management process involving the identification of training needs for self and others12Support HOD in IMS audit, reviewing invoices, Preparing and adhering Annual OPEX and CAPEX Budget, etc13Coordination with Maintenance team for efficient operations and maintenance activity14Familiarity with the modern port technologies like – Automated systems, RFID and similar softwares used for tracking and managing cargo
