About this Position
We're looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at our chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process safety, and a proven track record of managing a diverse range of maintenance activities, from daily operations to key priority projects at site and also responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all plant equipment and systems.
What You´ll Do
- Maintenance & Reliability: Develop and implement a robust maintenance strategy to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime. Manage and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, thermography etc.
- Technical Expertise: Oversee the maintenance of a wide range of chemical processing equipment, including mixers, reactors, pumps, and specialized machinery used in adhesives technology. Manage the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure a safe and controlled environment.
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure new assets meet all specifications before commissioning.
- Resource & Inventory Control: Manage the maintenance budget and control costs. Implement effective spare parts management and inventory control systems to ensure the availability of critical components while minimizing holding costs.
- Energy Management: Develop and execute initiatives for Energy conservation to reduce the facility's operational costs and environmental footprint.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train a team of maintenance technicians and engineers. Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
What makes you a good fit
- Should be a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within the chemical, Pharma or Continuous process industry.
- Demonstrated experience with Brownfield, Greenfield projects, including installation, commissioning, FAT, and SAT.
- Strong understanding of adhesives technology, mixers, and other specialty chemical equipment.
- Proficiency in SAP Maintenance Module, Energy conservation, Smart Factory systems.
- Deep knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and related regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
