Job Title: Manager - Plant HR ( Individual Contributor role) Location: Mumbai Reports To: Head - Plant HR Department: Human Resources Direct Reportee: Nil About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support the HR function across multiple manufacturing sites. This role will involve managing and analyzing key HR metrics, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and providing strategic HR support to our operations. You will work closely with senior management, providing insights and recommendations on how to optimize our workforce and drive organizational performance. Contribute in fostering a culture of openness, collaboration, and ownership under PACT guidelines to propel the organisation from being good to great. Key Responsibilities:1. Data Analytics & Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data from 8 manufacturing sites, including headcount, hiring trends, attrition rates, exit reports, employee engagement survey results, manpower costs, manpower costs, budgeting and productivity metrics. Use advanced data analytics tools to derive actionable insights and prepare insightful presentations for senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis. Provide detailed reports on workforce trends and key HR metrics to inform business decisions and strategic planning. Collaborate with management to implement HR solutions based on data-driven insights. Support Head - Plant HR in annual performance processing for all plants 2. HRBP for Multiple Manufacturing Plants: Manage the HRBP function for 3 small manufacturing plants with headcounts ranging from 15 to 125 employees. Provide end-to-end HR support including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and retention strategies. Act as the primary HR point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and business objectives. Drive employee engagement and foster a positive work environment across multiple sites. Address and resolve HR issues, working closely with senior leaders to implement solutions that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. 3. Labour Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across all plants and the corporate office. Track labor compliance status through the Compliglobal portal and ensure all plants are adhering to legal requirements. Conduct regular audits and ensure any non-compliance is immediately addressed and rectified. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to stay updated on changing labor laws and regulations in the manufacturing sector. 4. Communication & Reporting: Regularly prepare MIS for senior management to update on HR-related insights, trends, challenges, and opportunities across manufacturing sites. Prepare presentations for senior leadership, including HR updates, employee metrics, and actionable recommendations. Provide insights to leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and overall HR strategy based on data and site-specific needs. Key Requirements: Education: Full-time MBA in HR or equivalent from a recognized institution. Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in HR, specifically within a manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on experience in HR operations, employee relations, and HR compliance. Experience managing multiple sites, including plants with varying headcounts. Skills: Expertise in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio) for deriving insights from HR data and preparing reports and presentations. Solid understanding of labor compliance in the manufacturing sector and the ability to ensure adherence to regulations. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior management, present data-driven insights, and drive HR initiatives. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results. Competencies: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proactive, data-driven, and detail-oriented.
