Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead our Human Resources function, tailored to the unique needs of the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, managing talent, ensuring compliance, and fostering a productive work environment aligned with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition and Management

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies specific to the manufacturing industry.
  • Manage the complete recruitment life cyclefrom sourcing to onboarding.
  • Build employer branding strategies to attract and retain top talent.

2. Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Address employee grievances and manage conflict resolution.
  • Handle disciplinary processes in compliance with labor laws.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives such as yearly picnics, festival celebrations, and monthly recreational activities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.

3. Performance Management

  • Guide managers and employees in setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and creating development plans.
  • Oversee the entire performance appraisal process.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and identify training opportunities for continuous improvement.

4. Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer and regularly evaluate compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
  • Manage statutory benefits including PF, PT, ESIC, MLWF, and other welfare schemes.
  • Benchmark compensation packages to stay competitive.

5. Training and Development

  • Design and conduct technical, behavioral, and safety training programs.
  • Promote continuous learning and employee growth.
  • Maintain training records for ISO, TS, OHSAS, and other certifications.

6. Compliance and Legal

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws including Factories Act, Workmans Compensation Act, and others.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee documentation.
  • Liaise with government bodies and auditors as needed.

7. HR Strategy and Planning

  • Develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and monitor HR budgets and analytics.
  • Create, implement, and enforce HR policies.
  • Analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.

8. Safety and Wellbeing

  • Promote a culture of workplace safety and employee wellbeing.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety-related statutory requirements.
  • Implement programs that encourage employee resilience, wellness, and long-term engagement.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR management within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with ISO, TS, and OHSAS documentation and practices.

Education

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications in labor law compliance, industrial relations, or HR analytics would be an advantage.
