About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on AI Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python, APIs, system architecture, machine learning algorithms, generative AI, model training and fine-tuning, inferencing, and vision models, while also demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills across full-stack teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and drive the AI roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering scalable AI solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers.
• Technical Execution
  • Architect and implement end-to-end AI systems, from data ingestion to model deployment.
  • Design and develop robust APIs for model integration.
  • Lead efforts in model training, fine-tuning, and inferencing across various domains including NLP and computer vision.
  • Implement and maintain model observability frameworks for performance monitoring and drift detection.
• Generative AI & Vision Models
  • Build and optimize GenAI models (LLMs, diffusion models, etc.) for enterprise use cases.
  • Develop and deploy computer vision models for image classification, object detection, OCR, etc.
• Collaboration & Integration
  • Work closely with full-stack engineering teams to integrate AI models into production systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• System Design & Scalability
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable AI architectures.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of AI services in production.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, FastAPI, etc.
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms, model lifecycle, and MLOps.
• Experience with GenAI, LLMs, vision models, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Expertise in API development, system design, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with model observability tools (e.g., Evidently AI, Arize, WhyLabs).
• Proven track record of working with full-stack teams and deploying AI models in production.
• Good understanding of AI Agentic stacks such as Langchain
