We believe that continuing education credits should be lively, educational, and impactful. We believe that internet based learning can convey information, but that there are several disadvantages. In our experience, the live interaction between student and teacher allows for intelligent Q&A and most importantly time to understand how the material can be applied in the student’s business profitable. Therefore, most of our continuing education programs are in-person classroom style. We occasionally bring in guest speakers to present specialized topics and facilitate discussion.

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Director - US Accounting Tax to lead and expand our US Practice. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, iGAAP, and IFRS, alongside comprehensive experience in US taxation, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance and advisory. This leadership role requires a blend of technical accounting and tax acumen, operational excellence, client relationship expertise, and a proven track record of managing large, cross-functional global teams. The individual will be instrumental in shaping strategic direction, ensuring quality compliance, and optimizing service delivery across our US clientele. Job Responsibilities: Technical Leadership - Accounting Tax: Oversee preparation, review, and finalization of US GAAP-compliant financial statements (PL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Statement of Changes in Equity). Lead review and sign-off of corporate, partnership, and individual federal and state tax returns (Forms 1120, 1065, 1040, 990, etc.). Ensure compliance with ASC 842 (Lease Accounting) , ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) , ASC 740 (Income Taxes) , Consolidations , and Intercompany/Transfer Pricing Supervise monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and deferred taxes . Provide guidance on complex accounting treatments, tax planning, and exposure mitigation for US Stay abreast of evolving IRS regulations , FASB updates , and international reporting frameworks like IFRS and iGAAP. Practice Development Client Engagement: Spearhead the growth and positioning of the US Accounting Tax practice within the global delivery Lead strategic client discussions, onboarding, and scoping to align deliverables with client Act as a trusted advisor, delivering insights on financial performance, compliance strategies, and tax-saving opportunities . Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities across services like audit support, FPA, RD credits, and international tax. Operational Excellence Governance: Define and implement robust delivery frameworks , SLAs, and internal controls ensuring high service quality and compliance. Drive standardization and documentation of SOPs for accounting and tax processes across client Lead end-to-end transition management for new clients, including discovery, migration, pilot testing, and Leverage modern tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, CaseWare, UltraTax, ProSeries, CCH Axcess) for optimized workflows and reporting accuracy. Leadership Talent Management: Build, mentor, and retain high-performing accounting and tax teams; conduct technical training and performance reviews. Guide teams through complex accounting or tax technicalities and resolution of client Execute effective capacity planning, workload distribution , and resource forecasting aligned with business Foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and client- Job Requirements: Education Certification: Bachelor s degree in accounting/commerce; Master s Qualified CA (India) and/or CPA (US) ; Dip IFRS (ACCA) is an Professional Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and taxation with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a public accounting or offshore delivery environment. Demonstrated expertise in outsourced accounting , shared service delivery models , and client-facing roles . Deep familiarity with tax software and ERP/Cloud accounting platforms .
