Manager - Construction Tankage

Purpose/Objective

Planning, coordination and construction of various types of tanks within specified engineering drawings, technical specifications, work scope, construction codes, scheduled timeline and project parameters

Key Responsibilities of Role

Execution of all tank construction activities within the defined scope of work of the contract and managing all site activities including construction, quality, HSE, administration etc. required for smooth flow of tank construction Review of all technical specification, drawings and engineering deliverables for tanks, highlight and resolve discrepancy, if any Ensuring approval of all technical documents before initiating any site activity like lifting plan, method statement, TPI, calibration, TDS , risk assessment, ITP etc. Coordination with different discipline like Civil, Electrical, Piping, Admin, Planning, HSE, QC, P&M etc. to ensure smooth flow of work at project Site. Responsible to execute all tank construction activities as per planned schedule and monitor the construction activities, resources and other project parameters on day to day basis. Ensuring all Tank construction activities are performed safely in compliance with project HSE policy, ITP and specified schedule. Develop the mitigation plan for any lag or delay in site activities Monitoring day to day work plan and resources deployment at site and follow-up for variation if any to achieve the schedule Carrying out construction activities of various types of tanks and preparation of deliverables required Prioritize the site activities as per project requirement and plan the resources for execution of same Perform and coordinate MTO activities and provide necessary details for procurement activities

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred. Experiences: Minimum experience: 7-12 years in Tank Construction Hands-on experience of handling oil & gas project of same kind. Knowledge of construction codes, Welding Codes & NDT requirements etc. Experience in handing all type of Tank Construction activities Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External) and conducting negotiations with large-scale. high-value vendors
