Job Summary
The CMS Manager is responsible for acquiring new clients for cash pickup, drop, and cash burial services while ensuring seamless service delivery to existing CMS clients. The role requires strong sales ability, client relationship management, data handling, team supervision, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high service standards and business growth
.
Key Responsibilities.
- New Client Acquisition
- Identify, approach, and onboard new clients for CMS products (cash pickup, drop, burial, door-step banking, etc.).
- Develop business leads through field visits, market mapping, and industry networking.
- Conduct product presentations and propose customized CMS solutions.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals and finalize agreements.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
- Existing Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Ensure timely resolution of client queries, issues, or escalations.
- Monitor daily CMS operations for each client (pickup schedules, drop operations, cash reconciliation, billing).
- Conduct regular client review meetings to maintain high service satisfaction.
- Drive retention, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
- CMS Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with Cash in transit branches, and internal operations teams.
- Ensure timely execution of pickup, drop, and cash burial services.
- Track service disruptions, delays, or discrepancies and ensure immediate resolution.
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Prepare and analyse MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Track client volumes, service usage, revenue, and SLA adherence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of agreements, client details, and operational data.
- Use data insights for forecasting, performance tracking, and process improvement.
- Team Handling & Leadership
- Lead and supervise field executives/coordinators handling pickups and drops.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Provide training, motivation, and guidance to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure manpower availability as per service requirements.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all cash handling operations comply with company policies and regulatory norms.
- Monitor risk-prone activities, discrepancies, or audit observations.
- Take corrective measures to reduce operational risks and enhance service security.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and process integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in CMS, banking operations, logistics.
- Experience in client acquisition and relationship management is essential.
- Exposure to cash logistics/CIT vendor handling is preferred.
